Music and its importance at Morningside

Music is a vital part of the Christian experience at Morningside.

As a congregation, we gladly sing the hymns of old. This is the music that is part of our spiritual foundation. We also love to sing for every heart at Morningside!

The choir at Morningside brings a wide variety of music to the worship experience. Both classical and contemporary music are a part of choral music at Morningside.

Children play an important role in music at Morningside. Their music is made fun by the addition of instruments and singing. Individual young musicians have the opportunity to share unique musical gifts with the congregation.

Instrumental music is also a part of music at Morningside.

The Christian family at Morningside is obedient to Scripture as it lifts praises to God:

"Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spirtual songs. Sing and make music in your hearts to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ." Ephesians 5:19-20
