| Message Here is a message from the Coordinator of the DFH, Jeff W. Selby, M.D.: This year's 8th Indiana Congressional District race has taken on an interesting "flavor" in that we hear a great deal concerning federally-funded health care, prescription drug costs, and other topics relating to the medical field. In addition, a physician is running as the opponent to our incumbent, Congressman John Hostettler. Under Dr. Paul Perry's health care proposals, you will see an increase in federal regulations, trial lawyers, and bureaucrats telling you how to practice medicine. As practicing physicians, our hands are already tied by the federal government. The last thing we need is additional legislation that dictates how we should practice medicine. Let's make a stand before November letting the voters know that Dr. Perry's collegues do not agree with his plans for how medicine should be practiced. As patients' advocates, we believe the American people should retain their freedom of choice and have a secure physician-patient relationship. Join me and let's make a difference! Sincerely, Jeff W.
