Q. What is Doctors For Hostettler?
A. Doctors For Hostettler
[DFH] is an organization of doctors in the 8th District of Indiana
to help elect the incumbent to the U.S. Congress, John Hostettler.
Q. Why was it formed?
A. It was formed as a way to help inform the challenger [Dr. Paul
Perry], the press, and the voters that the proposals of Dr. Perry
were not agreed upon by his fellow colleagues in the medical field.
Q. Who formed this organization?
A. Jeff Selby, M.D., a pulmonologist who resides and works in the
same counties as Dr. Paul Perry and who saw a potential threat to
his own doctor-patient relationship. It was clear to Dr. Selby and
many other doctors that increased government regulation in the medical
field would be dangerous to doctors and patients, and so they created
the Doctors For Hostettler.
